Alicia Taylor

Alicia Taylor is an Australian travel and lifestyle photographer. She studied design and photography at Melbourne’s RMIT University and has since gone on to travel the world capturing moments for an extensive list of clients. Her association with Becker Minty began in 2017 when she presented ‘Above Below’, her first foray into fine art photography. 

Taylor’s art is characterised by a refined elegance and deep sense of space. Multiple images are seamlessly merged together to create surrealist dreamscapes that explore the evocative power of the environment and the body. In her ‘Above Below’ series, turbulent cloudscapes are overlaid with tranquil reflections, whilst floating limbs and bolts of lightning direct the viewer’s eye around the image. 

In her series ’Rockets and Romance’, Taylor treats the sky as her canvas, painting her familiar cloudscapes with the explosive energy of fireworks. These images are striking and celebratory, blending sparkly human-made moments with the beauty of the natural world. Her subtle artistic sensibilities and technical prowess come together to produce truly unique images.
