Exhibition: 'Solstice'

Every year the winter solstice marks a powerful moment of rebirth. In June, the slowly waning daylight hours culminate in the longest night, an event which has inspired reverence, terror and awe across millennia. At dawn, the celestial tides turn and the sun is reborn, ushering in a new beginning as the days grow longer once again. The artists in this exhibition pay homage to the solstice, exploring the compelling narratives of the human experience after dark and the hope inspired by the breaking of a new day - the sun’s victory over the night.
