The first private china factory was founded in Hohenberg/ Bavaria in 1814. DIBBERN re-opened the plant in 1997 and has since continued the centuries-old art of traditional china manufacturing applying the highest possible standards.

The high contents of bone ash (calcium phosphate) distinguish this speciality from common hard porcelain and contribute to the material’s extraordinary density and strength. DIBBERN Fine Bone China products are mainly hand-made. Over 75% of the production involves manual labour.
