"A pre-pandemic train and ferry tour of Scandinavian capitals was a dream trip since architecture school and culminated in my first collection of wall sconces: The Oslo Collection.
A life-long admiration for Scandinavian design was realized in museums, galleries, on self-guided walking tours, and in antique stores. While rummaging through a junk shop in Oslo, I found a chunky glass wall sconce with the label from the women’s boutique in Norway’s main department store from the 1950s. This cherished piece, which now illuminates the dining room in my Miami home, inspired my work in this new direction.
As a child of the 1970s, brutalist architecture, wood paneling and colorful slag glass pendant lights are a part of my DNA as a designer. In this collection of wall sconces, I fused my signature neo-brutalist sculptures with a ‘70s vibe to create lighting that is both contemporary and linked to the past.
As with all wall sculptures, furniture, lamps, and freestanding pieces, each sconce is handcrafted and may be customized by color and glass choices. They can be hardwired or equipped with plugs, all using LED."
Available by order only. All wired to Australian standards.
