Debbie Mackinnon shared the following statement about this work:

"In the streets surrounded by the National Park, it can be hard to even see the houses on the edge of town. This scenes reveals very little sign of human habitation. Only the clues of telegraph poles, street markings, sign posts and a kerb suggest that people live here. But on bin night, there are the ubiquitous green bins at the end of every hidden driveway. Working with acrylic and mixed media, I have allowed some of the original charcoal marks to remain as another way to show what might lie beneath."
