With this exhibition, Stig expands on the distinctive visual language of his atmospheric landscapes, bringing us a rich body of work that explores liminal states, both physical and metaphorical. In these works, the sun rises and sets as turbulent storms roll in and out. These threshold moments mirror the artist’s state of being as well as his painting process, where images evolve intuitively with no defined beginning or end; simply the invitation to continue painting.
