Product description
Harley Oliver is an artist, television producer and filmmaker. He studied Fine Arts at the Wimbledon Art School in London in the late 1960s, before launching a highly successful career in television and film as an editor, producer and director. He has worked for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and Networks Seven, Nine and Ten. In recent years he has dedicated his time to painting, presenting several solo exhibitions in Sydney.
Rhodes Oliver is Harley's father. Whilst perusing old negatives from his art school days, Harley also discovered some of his father's images. Both his and his father's photographs offer an intriguing insight into life in London during the 1950s and 60s. There is a palpable sense of nostalgia in these images which capture the distinctive character of the vehicles, fashions and lifestyle of the time, and demonstrate the unique creative eye shared between father and son.
