Dan Schneiger

Dan Schneiger

Dan Schneiger was born and raised in Malwaukee, Wisconsin. His first introduction to art was in early in childhood when his mother attended art school, he would accompany her, swapping regular children’s toys for art materials like clay and plaster. Captivated by masters like Brancusi, Noguchi and Neutra, Dan’s passion for art and design led him to complete a Master of Architecture at the University of Minnesota, after which Dan practiced as an architect for 20 years. It was in 2014 that moved to Miami to pursue art full time. Working with a vast range of materials, wood, plaster, resin, paint, pigments, and found objects, Dan’s work is strongly influenced by his architectural background. He creates sculptures, furniture and lighting that is both geometric and organic and honours the symbiotic relationship between art and architecture. Dan started his association with Becker Minty in 2017.
